Has it really been four years since my last blog post? Where has the time gone? Note to self: it’s time to update this website (this winter) and add some energy to it.
I mean it’s not as though I’ve been sitting around eating bonbons but I do have the best excuse, at least for the past eighteen months. We moved! Yes, we no longer live in Wyoming. As beautiful as it was (near Jackson Hole) the winters became too, too long for Richard. They last pretty much for seven months and there were too many double-snow-blowing days for him.
Anyway here we are in lovely Santa Fe, New Mexico. We arrived with a full set of friends already living here, friends from the art show realm, and it made that part of the move relatively seamless. We also lucked out with our neighbors and this amazing home. While not the majestic view we had BIW it is pretty great nonetheless. We’ve done some changes to our home but not many. Paint is inexpensive and can make such a huge difference.
I thought I was going to quit the show scene but, surprise!, I’ve found my energy and creativity that was sorely missed in 2025. I’ve already applied to shows for 2027.
I’m posting pics of our most recent endeavor: woven cotton pillows in rep (repp) weave. You’ll see them at our next show in Saint Louis coming up 9/18-9/20. We think you’ll like them. A lot!
